Very nice! That does look like pencil on paper, but I'm guessing that may the point of the  'pen & ink' app.
Let's see......

Always was a leg man... This is digital? It looks like pencil sketching.

Yep, digital. :) I downloaded about a dozen or so art apps for my iPad and have been messing around with them. I want to get a precision pressure stylus, but those start at $50 and only go higher. :(

Wraa, I went and bought all the extra brushes and settings for Pen & Ink. It's worth the purchase. There's a companion app named Graphite that focuses on pencil work and sketches. It's also free. :)
Risha and Jay Chan? Yeah, I ship'em.

I'm cheap! I'll make do with the free stuff... I'm also kinda poor!  :P

Here's a reference sheet for Lisbon I did a few months back. Drawn by hand and colored with copic markers.

Looks good with one small critque: On the from behind shot, you have the inner ears facing backwards. Looks good, solid design!

I didn't know how the back of the ears looked at the time. :) I will keep that in mind for the updated reference sheet I want to do.

Next up is Lisbon's best friend and future girl friend, Xyn.

Then we have Lisbon's older brother, Liam. This is an unfinished picture I plan on either finishing digitally or redoing entirely. Liam is the equivalent of a kuvvie pro wrestler.

This was a Bruce Timm inspired take on Lisbon and a male kuvvie in general.

Nice projects with marker colors, Lisbon. Interesting explorations of body types and the last one of drawing styles.

Nice work indeed. The poses look very good. Are you working from reference images?

Wraa: some are reference, like Xyn's rear view, but most are free hand.

Dreaker: yeah, these are colored and inked with Copic Markers. The photos are bad because of the lighting in my room. I'll see about taking pics in better lighting here soon.
Risha and Jay Chan? Yeah, I ship'em.

That is quite good! I'm kinda jealous! :) I can rarely do much with bodies as far as free handing it goes. I work best when I have a reference to work from.

One of my biggest issues, besides having my figures appear stiff, is that I can never figure out where to pose arms.
