The Fan Character Open Interview
« on: September 25, 2014, 06:40:20 PM »
I thought this might be fun to try. The title is pretty much self explanatory. We'll be interviewing our fan characters. Anyone can ask any character anything. This is fourth wall breaking, but please remember to respond in character. Before questions start getting tossed about, please leave a post stating who is going to be a part of the interview. If you have bios listed for you characters, please post links to them. :-)

Representing my group will be Lisbon and Xyn.

Yes, we are going to fight back. But not here, not now, not in the Colonies. Not even in this star system. Let the word go forth to every man, woman and child who survived this holocaust. Tell them to set sail at once in every assorted vehicle that will carry them.

What's a "Fan Character"?

An original character that you make for yourself. Lots of board members have them, usually their kuvsona. Noben's current pirate storyline has been featuring our characters as background characters to be killed off in grand, pirate fashion.
Risha and Jay Chan? Yeah, I ship'em.

*in class, someone passes Lisbon a note in barely legible neoclassical Csyelusian cursive* "Dear Lisbon, ...It is Lisbon, right? Have you met that dorky, androgynous kid with the orangey-blonde hair and the baby blue eyes? I think [his] name is Sasha... I'm asking because I think I want to get to know him, but I'm terrible at making new friends. I like to know a little about someone before I introduce myself. I'm kinda weird that way.  I've med [his] dad, though. ..Sergei I think. There's a DILF if I ever saw one ;) Sorry, I'm rambling. ADD. Can you help me?

(I prefer to have a setting to work with.
I will offer this one, for those who wish to join me,
but I can simply dismiss it, if it becomes disruptive.)

Shroomy's was quite dead this evening as many students were busy with the Fall semester,
many booths open and the man to the register seeming so bored as his eyes are glazing over...

In the corner a beautiful brass cappuccino machine quietly gleams under the array of  soft lights of the restaurant,
the only real sounds are from the idle cleaning of the staff in the unseen kitchen.

In one of the far corners as rather large figure takes up an entire half of a booth,
long tail flicking with dull golden scales as the quite alien dragon sips a large cup of steaming green tea.

P.S.

My two main characters, Jan and Brad : http://forum.altermeta.net/index.php/topic,119.msg34353.html#msg34353

They're both based on particular characteristics of myself, picked out and separated, then filled in with some filler, smoothing, and gratuitous storytelling, so asking questions of them may just be asking questions of myself. Seeing as I won't distinguish between truth and fiction, I'll answer truly to both.

Possible settings: School, school library, at family dojo, randomly around town (Jan), nature settings (Jan).

I'm afraid I'm rather occupied these days so I might be a little while to reply and I'll have to forgo asking questions myself, for the moment :(.
And the cackling coyote said to the wolf, "Then what will be left to eat but the fat off your lies and my gamey pointless riddles?"

Um, guys. You're getting off track here. There's no need for a setting or anything. This is just us and our characters interviewing our characters. It's a chance to get to know the characters outside of the bios.

And Risha, I don't know the runt. And last time I was near him he smelled funny. You'll have to ask someone else.

... This is just us and our characters interviewing our characters...

Then I revert to my initial state of being confused.

Our RL selves interviewing our IC selves,
or us as our IC selves responding to other's RL selves asking about our IC selves?

I can rephrase the question,
if needed.

It can be either. We as ourselves interviewing each other's characters or the characters interviewing each other.
Risha and Jay Chan? Yeah, I ship'em.

More IC Q&A?

Right, correct, and breaking the fourth wall is permissible. This is meant to be somewhat informative and funny.

To Voidbane:

Not your average Kuvrahk, are ya? If you don't mind my asking, how did you get so... Tall? I'm mean, I'm tall for my age but you... Wait a minute... Are those wings real?!

*The dragon freezes mid-sip of tea*

Wait... This isn't normal here?!?!

*Looks around nervously...*

Oh... by Xymor's shell! The one time I counted on that world flux, it does nothing!

...

*Stares at the tan local that is about half his size like a deer in the headlights...*

Uhhh...

If you don't tell the authorities, I'll answer all the questions you like...

I'm tall because of my genetics...
it's kinda scrambled between human and draconic,
but mum did this so I could help prevent a war between the
two as serving as a go-between...

*Looks very sad for a moment... and rather old...*

Not that I can see them again...

...

Anyways! I actually have to suppress my natural growth with these bands,
since people kinda act like you are now in... err...

"Other places"?

*He smirks a bit, lightening up.*

And yes, they are real...
but I can't use them for long,
since I am only half-built for them!

*He rustles the platinum membranes for you...*

Just, err...
Please don't tell the local scientists?

^..^;
