Don't worry. I won't tell the authorities or any scientists or anything. And now I have lots of questions. So... You're not really a Kuvrahk at all. You're a dragon. *suddenly seems a little uncomfortable, but supresses it* Not one of those dragons are you? And just exactly what is a human? Or a world flux. What th'hell is this "world flux" of yours?
Yes, we are going to fight back. But not here, not now, not in the Colonies. Not even in this star system. Let the word go forth to every man, woman and child who survived this holocaust. Tell them to set sail at once in every assorted vehicle that will carry them.

*Blinks... a little surprised that he actually agreed...*

Umm...

I am not sure what "those dragons" are,
but I am not like my father
who attempted to manipulate the very fabric of the Void itself...

A "human" tends to be a specific evolutionary path of a primate,
AKA a self-aware fur-less monkey.
They can be rather paranoid and reckless,
but are ultimately only as dangerous as you allow them to be.

*The dragon rubs his temple a bit,
trying to figure out how to explain the "world flux"...*

I... kinda messed with my father's studies...

As a result, my very existence is a tad unstable;
like a reflection of a reflection.

This makes it easier to slip into other "worlds",
but also tends to make me conform to the rules and themes of that world.

Like if you were drawn by an artist;
you would be the same figure,
but in different styles?

^..^;?

*Gives a deep bow, spreading his wings regally*

Inventor, philosopher and adventurer..."

Oh, so humans are just like the Hromwathi! And I guess if you don't know what "those dragons" are, you're not one of them. And that's a good thing.

Maybe the Hromwathi can help you with that world flux of yours. They're rumored to have access to some very powerful magic. If it's true, that's probably why only Csyelus is visible from space, and the rest of the planet seems shrouded somehow.

Heh. I've done nothing but ask you questions.  I think it's your turn to ask me a few.

*Looks very nervous at the mention of "powerful magic"*

No-no-no... I was hoping to AVOID magic...

Kinda why I came here.

I'll bet these other dragons are why my form never changed;
something similar to myself already had existed at some point...

*The tall dragonoid smiles at the mention of asking questions back,
the smell of saffron and incense on his smokey breath...*

A even trade, eh?

You are proving to be more noble by the moment...

To start; What are you?

By that, I mean; what concepts or actions define what you consider your identity to be?

Question for fan characters: lv1 sword vs lv2 knife vs lv1.5 shield? (No background info given :P)

I'd go with the level one sword. You have distance over the level 2 sword and the level 1.5 shield isn't that much stronger.
Risha and Jay Chan? Yeah, I ship'em.

The gold dragon ponders...

"While I hate to oppose Mao Zedong on military tactics,
I would prefer a shield over blade, if only in concept.

I prefer to learn from my opponent first, then react...
using their own force against them, if possible.

But, as you are unwilling to fully detail the scenario and value scales,
my ultimate answer would have to be a simple...

"Yes"."

What concepts or actions define what I consider my identity to be? That's a good question. I am a suburbian Kuvrahk, and a college student studying in various fields. Magic, Aviation, and Engineering, mainly. I am a male both in sex and gender, though my sex is less certain than my gender. I'm easygoing and fun-loving. A party looking for a place to happen.

Is that adequate?
Yes, we are going to fight back. But not here, not now, not in the Colonies. Not even in this star system. Let the word go forth to every man, woman and child who survived this holocaust. Tell them to set sail at once in every assorted vehicle that will carry them.

Nice to meet you, Sigwion, I am known as Risha; student, dreamer, and adventurer. *offers a handshake* And I'd love to join you for a drink.

Sigwion gently takes the smaller paw in his talon and shakes gingerly,
motioning to the opposite side of the booth...

"I wonder if anyone else is going to show up...
Should I hide?"

*takes a seat opposite the towering dragon* I don't think you need to hide. If anyone else shows up, they'll likely just mistake you for a freakishly tall Kuvrahk like I did. And if something goes wrong, I'll protect you.

I might as well join this.  My character Edward: http://forum.altermeta.net/index.php/topic,119.msg31711.html#msg31711

*Edward casually walks into the room, sees the really tall kurvie, and shrugs.  The small kurvie makes sure not to be stepped on by taking a wide arc around Sigwion.  Then he goes over to a chair by the window, pulls out a comic, and sits down to read.*
I should put something pithy here, but I don't have the energy.

*Goes back to listening to his rock music while reading a comic.*
