I would love to have Kids some day. Though, if "the one" turns out to be a male, that could be a little difficult. Hopefully, science will find a way around that soon.
Yes, we are going to fight back. But not here, not now, not in the Colonies. Not even in this star system. Let the word go forth to every man, woman and child who survived this holocaust. Tell them to set sail at once in every assorted vehicle that will carry them.

Sigwion just smiles and sips his tea at the mention of "science"...

"What about adoption?"

Well that's a horse of a different color. Adopting is certainly an option unless you want to pass along your genes, but then we get into that whole nature vs. nurture thing and bleck.

As to the kid question; I'd hate to inflict what I'm sure will be horrible parenting skills on my hypothetical progeny, but I definitely want some. Three would be good, two would be good, one and four are right out though.

Adoption is an option, but I take pride in my genetics, and I want that to be one of my gifts to the next generation.

"Artificial Insemination...

You just have to find a female to carry them for you.

Know any powerfully maternal and motherly Kuvrahks?"

*grins* Oh, yes. I do indeed. I can name a few, but I don't know that any of them would be willing to carry my children. But I would have to choose carefully; No matter what happens, I want my kids to resemble both of their parents to some extent or another.

That sounds like a sitcom. Wasn't that a sitcom? Some girl agrees to carry these two dudes' child for them or something like that... If it wasn't it should be.

I don't recall this sitcom. In the human world, it could work if done right.

Right, it would be a lot of laughs, but it could be touching too. Baby carrying is serious business.
