Yes, we are going to fight back. But not here, not now, not in the Colonies. Not even in this star system. Let the word go forth to every man, woman and child who survived this holocaust. Tell them to set sail at once in every assorted vehicle that will carry them.

i have in the past pondered say a cafe or such where the staff are all in animal costumes. for cute factor as part of an attraction, be rather easy to make it holiday themed

also, its not zombie jesus day, as thats the wrong template

his phylactery is likely still out there you know

Eh, depends on you definition of Zombie....

I actually had this very debate with a local friend yesterday!

We found common ground with the term "undead".

Hmmm...
Maybe a revenant. In many cases they look totally human.
Or a reanimated dead. In case of a very fresh corpse they look as if they were alive.
Or a very very powerful necromancer who could drag himself from back from death.

'revnant' is not one you see very often at all so its hard to know the specific rules. the two definitions ive seen is a dead person who comes back whole simply because he has such a strong drive for his unfinished business he has to finish before he can stop. the other definition is a dead body that is found laying facedown on the ground a short distance from its grave, church records actually have accounts of this, some of them had to be reburied three or four times before they stopped poppin back up.

still, give a casual read of the new testament and calling jesus a magician makes sense, lichdom would be a hook for one heck of an epic level adventure climax

Scorpion from Mortal Kombat is said to be a revenant. Also revenants change from universe to universe. Sometimes they are powerful undead returned to avange someting. Sometimes they are just a strong type of zombie. In my universe's lore everything is a revenants when the spirit of a dead person is sealed (unwilling) into or possessing (willing) an artificial body (a suit of armor, a golem or a machine).

We could all just go with "Happy Necro Jesus Day."  Doesn't that fit all of these?
