Gaming as a community

Would anyone be interested in gathering together with the community to play games together? We could get together to try some ftp games or minecraft I know a lot of people here like minecraft and we could possibly get our own servers for games like that and ARK or other games. Who would be interested? And if you are what games would you like to play?

Minecraft is a game I'l like to try in the future, but before that I have a priority list of games I need to try or pick back up once I have the chance. To pick back up: WoW, SWtOR, and STO. To try: StarCraft II, Halo (all of them), Mass Effect (all of them), Heroes of the Storm, and maaaybe The Elder Scrolls Online, because Khajiits and Argonians. If Minecraft is going to happen, It's going to happen after all that.

Meanwhile, when I play through WoW, I'm going to start from scratch, And I'd like to do it wit ha group. Kinda like Noben tried to do. Actually, exactly like Noben tried to do. Hopefully with Noben. I'll pay everyone else's subscriptions if I have to.

I'd be up for a community game session or arrangement... I don't have a copy of Minecraft but can/do play diablo 3, WoT, WoWs, halo pc, civ5, SAS4 on Kongregate, earth under, and more. Pacific standard base timezone. Oh, and halo 2 pc. =)

Sounds like a good idea. Most of the games I play are either sandbox/simulators, Real time strategies, or tactical squad cooperative based first person shooters like project reality.

We're going to give Neverwinter a try. Its on steam and its free to play. If you want to join us you can download it and try it out to see if you'd like it and if so you can join the guild we'll be making, although right now we're not sure what it will be named. Eventually they'll be adding strongholds and we're mostly interested in seeing how building our own base works in this game.

My handle in the game is @mebanle, your handle can be seen if you push alt as your character and put your cursor over your portrait on the top left and right click. My main character is Tumble Vatrin so to add me you'd type Tumble Vatrin@mebanle in the add friends area that you can get to by pushing O.

We all plan to meet up at level 15 so thats the goal, if you want to team up with someone thats also fine too, you dont have to be 15 before you play with eachother. http://store.steampowered.com/app/109600/ here is the link to the game in the steam store. If you dont want to play it on steam heres the original http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter

I don't even own a PC really...

Tend to use old laptops or jump on household devices when I can.

TF2 was just because of Steam...
So I will see if I can find a device that can support the platform without overheating.

Can someone reveal more about this "Neverwinter" game in the meanwhile?

Is it like Everquest or Runescape?

Put D&D into a MMO setting. It's pretty fucking fun.
